Naming ceremony

This is performed for errant childeren when they reach the age of six. They have to hunt down a piece of prey,the better the prey,the finer the name. The name is also assigned by the queen herself.

History

It began with the first of Errants,when the young were never named other then the royal childeren and the first queen,Queen Storm,came up with the cermony so everyone would have a name.

Execution

1.a festival and feast is thrown for the child and their family and friends are the ones who stand closet to them. 2. the child is sent on their first hunting trip,not to return until they have caught a worthy piece of prey 3.When the child comes back,they are assigned their mature name by the queen.

Components and tools

Participants

Everyone in the community,especially the child's family and friends.The queen (or her one of her daughters,nieces,cousins,sisters etc) have to be present unless ill or badly injured.

Observance

It done the day after the child's 6th brithday. unless the weather is really,really bad (because it must be done outdoors) it will continue no matter what.
