Kingdom of Afon

Centered around the capital city of Arrowhaft, the kingdom stretches through the Riverlands, south of the Crescent forest, and just north of the Roan peninsula. A now loose feudal society, Afon was once ruled by a powerful, benevolent, and just line of monarchs, as the result of war and unification. The line has suffered from generations of inbreeding, complacency, manipulation, and corruption. King Egbert of House Pil rules with apathy, pettiness, and frivolity, inheriting the throne from his father (an abnormally competent ruler) at a young age. Tensions within the Afon are high and many feel that a fruitless conflict with Roa is yet another product of King Egbert’s incompetence. The kingdom’s sigil is a golden arrow entwined in golden leaves.
