Fae
Pure Magic Given Life
Fae are true incarnations of the rawest forms of Hued magics, born at the beginning of time and truely immortal. They are relics of a time in which the Sea of Magic was freshly shattered and magic was raw, flowing, and crushing in its purity. It was in this time the first Fae were born, the first living beings to exist, before even Elmeron itself was created.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Fae, unlike most all species in Elmeron, are made of some of the most refined forms of magic, pure and unbridled. They are akin to Elementals in that way, except they maintain control over their form and emotions. While some choose to obtain the form of a humanoid figure, most spend their time flitting from form to form, from bird to squirell to bear to human to pixie to tree, these beings of shifting form and shifting mind are nearly incomprehensible to those of more grounded temperment.
Biological Traits
While fae are incredably changable, they do have some key defining traits. The all possess a shifting mass of pure Hued magic surrounding their Soul, which they are perfectly in tune with. While they can change their form, they will always the apperence of something Hued in the nature of themselves. They also have a true form, a pure manifestation of what they are as a being.
Genetics and Reproduction
Fae have existed as long as time itself, and cannot die, nor can they reproduce. However, it is possible for new Fae to be created when massive forces are involved, that of Gods, Belief, and World Changing magic.
It is said in legend that a Abyss Fae was born at the darkest moment in the history of the Teeth

Geographic Origin and Distribution
While Fae exist in all corners of Elmeron, it is noted that a great many Fae live in the Forest of the Moon, for it possessess the most hiding places in Elmeron, perfect for a secluded being of pure power like them.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Fae exist in a constent state of acute perceptiveness, always having an uncanny sense of their surroundings through magic unknown to humanoid minds. It is impossible to sneak up on a Fae, and even more so to trick them, lest you be tricked yourself.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Fae possess no need for names, and are usually named by Humanoids based off either their types of magic or personalities.
Relationship Ideals
While Fae feel no biological need to reproduce, and thus find a mate, they are capable of love, especially for more grounded, less etheral Fae, and many a love story has been based on the union of a Fae and a humanoid.
History
Fae were born at the beginning of time itself, when the infinite sea of Pure magic shattered into its infinte hues. The Pure magic that would become Souls, at this time unbound, was naturally drawn to shells of pure magic to prefent its own shattering. However, at this time, magic had not adapted itself to form shells for this Pure magic. And so, they Fae were born. By pure happenstance, in this massive conflagration of raw hued magic Souls represented the space between, and bound the surrounding magic to itself, forming the first living beings, the Fae. As the world settled into its final resting positions, the Fae scattered to the wind, a remnent of a time long, long past, watching as life evolved and shifted around it.
