Sildyr

Once strangers in a new land, the Sildyr people are elves of the forest. Closely related to the Xil elves of Isledrania, they once shared a homeland up until the invasion of House Mythvethyr. Split on how to handle their impending genocoide, the two groups of elves each chose a different way to handle the situation. The Sildyr decided to magically transport a large portion of their forest homeland, known then as the Sylfae, to a far away land; Awildian. The ritual was rather consuming, causing the elves to be weakened in their new home. This forced them to form a tentative alliance with the dwarves of the region, and then with the humans that left northern Isledrania also due to the drow invasion.
Even more so than before, the Sildyr are breed of survivors, choosing to live with nature and not upon it. Their connection with nature is ancient, and is paramount to their culture. The forest they moved, now known as Nevith Ta’Var, or the Mistwood, is teeming with primal magic. It is very much alive, and thus incredibly dangerous to outsiders. The Sildyr revere this fact, and actively worship the forest as an extension of Sarapheth, the goddess of nature, as the woodland itself is said to be an aspect of her.
The Sildyr are lithe like most elves, with brown, auburn, and stark red hair and eye coloration. Their skin tone varies, though is often light brown.
