Cedarshore

It started innocent enough

Cedarshore started as a getaway fishing spot for a couple local farmers. Located about a mile from their farm, Kyle and Geoff Roth would spend an hour or so each evening just off the clearing of the cedar forest. They started doing so just to relax after a long day in the fields, but over a few weeks they began to catch more fish then they could eat. Kyle decided that maybe they should take their catch to the farmers market with the produce that the farm was growing. They sold out of their fish hours before half of the produce was gone.  Everyday that month, they took more and more fish to market and fewer baskets of produce. Not wanting to give up on their fields, the brothers hired a few farm hands to help in the fields. Then a few more had to be hired to help catch more fish as the demand started to rise. 

The fishing spot became a market

Soon there was a need for stables and a smithy. The farm hands decided that they needed a place to unwind after the hard day, so they built a small shack where they could keep their spirits and ale.  The locals at the farmers market decided to travel to the fishing spot just so that they could get the fish a little fresher. Then the entire Farmers market decided to change locations so that the rest of the farmers would not miss out on sales. As more people gathered to the spot, more need for buildings arose to accommodate them all. 

The town was finally adopted 

In less than a year, the small fishing spot on the edge of a cedar forest, became a fishing hub and farmers market.

Demographics

Cedarshore is a small human village composed primarily of farmers and fishermen. The village to very self sustaining and most of the villagers do not travel far from its limits. Copper and a bit of silver is the local currency.
