Scalan, also know as the Brazen Titan and the Red God, is the god of fire & smithing and is one of the four deities responsible for the creation of the iuven race. He is representative of every association of fire, passion, and innovation. The iuven believe that it was Scalan that gave fire to the world at the advent of creation, a time when the gods and immortal races held dominion over Elenai.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The primary symbol of Scalan is a sun being raised into the sky by a phoenix. When flown as a banner for his temples, the sun and phoenix are both colored bronze and presented on a crimson field.

Holidays

Scalan has two known holy days.

The Day of the Flaring Sun. Celebrated by the Kaladnese and iuven traditionalists on the summer solstice. On this day, clerics of Scalan perform sacred rites and rituals of fire by burning bundles special ceremonial incense with offerings of finest animals & jewels in great braziers within the Houses of Scalan, whist prayers are spoken and hymns are sung.

The Festivals of Fire. A pair of holidays celebrated on the first and last day of summer. The Kaladnese put on grand, day long festivals filled with games, fine food & drink, and end the night with several large bonfires.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Scalan has but two great designs & desires that consume his thoughts. The propagation of the Iuven people and the extermination of the Triad of Tribulation and all works that stem from them. Though even in his latter goal, he desires Laneth's destruction above all. For Urden, he still feels a love and longing for his forsaken son to return to him, and Urruman he bears no concern for the rotting god keeps to his small realm of influnce when not aiding the other two corners of the triad. Laneth, however, has only his contempt and ire, for she is his antithesis, and he will stop at nothing to ensure that her icy tyranny is wiped from all the realms, never to be felt by anyone ever again.
