The Cosancoga Desert ((Coh-san- koh-gah))

The Cosancoga desert is the expansive sea of dunes in the southwest of Elgis. Strong winds, blaring sun, and frequent sandstorms make the Cosancoga desert an unwelcoming location for tourism or settlement. Its image is not improved by the strange, and often dangerous, creatures that come from somewhere deep in the unmapped desert.
It is claimed by the Ardetus Nation, though their presence in the location is sparse and they exert very little control over the region and the occupants therein. In reality, places like Pokugara operate semi-autonomously, a council of the townspeople making decisions with oversight from Ardetinian soldiers and paper-pushers.
