one of the most if not the most disgusting creatures you can find on this planet. If there is death then their are rotfiends. Even some of the most experienced adventurers flee from these repulsive creatures not because of their strength but because of their stench. They vomit and screech while they fight you and if you dealt enough damage it starts vomiting blood and it's body gets even more swollen than it already was. And then it explodes covering the unlucky adventurer with disgusting ooze and slime.

Biological Traits

There is nothing natural with these creatures their eyes are covered by meat patches. Their body's are covered in their own pus. they look like rotten human body's swollen and twisted. They are swollen because of their body's really unstable due to chemical reactions. If you damage it too much or set it on fire it will explode.

Nobody knows where they come from but where there is death there are rotfiends.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They eat the meat of the fallen because this is so much easier than hunting. You can find them around battlefields or other places where people die.

If you look at their skulls you notice that their skulls are rather small. Their faces are just full or rotten and swollen meat.

They can be found everywhere except in cold climates.
