History

There are many adventurers in the city. They can be quite violent.because the empire does not want constant street fighting. Have they chosen to make it legal to kill other people. in a duel.you can choose several locations. the arena if you are famous enough, the market square if you do not have enough money, the cemetery if you want to keep it private.and if you are a real gentleman you can also duel in the duel garden you can choose who looks and it is a beautiful location to die.

Execution

Both persons agree to the fight and agree which rules will apply. The fight can end with death.The classic way to challenge someone is to throw a glove over him. Whoever picks up the glove, wanted the rule, accepted the challenge and was allowed to choose where, when and with which weapons the duel takes place. The expression to pick up the glove is derived from this opening ritual.
In principle, both participants volunteer to participate in the game. However, this voluntary nature is relative: in some circles it is considered cowardly and disobedient not to answer an insult (or other injustice) with a challenge, and equally to not accept the challenge. That can be different if the fighters are very different in strength and play strength: it is cowardly to challenge a much weaker person and not disrespectful to refuse such a challenge.
