A World of Darkness

The world lies dark and brooding. A shadow hangs over the golden halls of Light Ateirus, and in the West a storm is brooding. I storm of mythic proportions. It has been a long time since the age of heroes. There is no place or such people now. But with the doomsday creeping ever closer, the time has come. This is a land in need of heroes. But who will answer the call?

A New Age

For years, the mighty Atreian Empire, overlord of Eleros, has flirted with the idea of war, raiding and pillaging and terrorising the inhabitants of the nearby Island Nation, Sitranth. It has not been peaceful, but the terror of all-out conflict has been avoided. Until now. There will always be those who want nothing more than war, and these people find their way anywhere, even the golden halls of Light Atreius. War is coming, and a continent is holding its breath.    

A Brief Disclaimer

I have not worked on this world for too long, and while I have had World Anvil for a little while, this is the first proper world I have built on it. A lot of the lore is currently in my head, or in other places, and I have not put all of it onto World Anvil. There will be articles that refer to currently non-published ideas and mechanics, so you'll have to bear with me until I can get everything up.
