Session 27 "Torn In Two" Report

General Summary

I am torn in two Hold on, hold on We're barely alive I am faded through Hold on, hold on The fallen arise I will fight this war for you And let the dawn of love survive Broken, I crawl back to life The Raven's Alliance rises the next morning to continue forward after a brutal night of battle. They hold council and decide to follow the tracks as far as they can along their way to Paburh. Shortly in the day they find a cold camp and notice that the tracks split north, east, and south. Worried for their home, Lillyanna contacts Unhf via the bowl and warns her druid friend. As they are in the midst of conversation, there is a commotion on Unhf's side and she worriedly calls out to Purity. The young genasi stands stone still and seems lost in another world. In a voice not her own she pronounces and omen to the druids and then collapses. Lillyanna closes the connection and alerts her friends nearby. Continuing along the path they soon come to Paburh seeing the work that had been completed by the aiding 7th Legion. They make there way inside and meet with the mayor of the trading town to warn her. Gunthar and Lillyanna meet with the new elven mayor and tell there story alerting the woman. She blanches at hearing the term Shadow Hunters and asks if they spotted a minotaur with them. They tell of the tracks and she gives them warning of Boros Greej, the infamous minotaur warrior who slew Lu the Hammer. Gunthar boasts they he will eliminate the threat much to the chagrin of the elven mayor. She then gives Lillyanna some information that might help her solve the mystery of her past and then dismisses them. The Raven's Alliace find rooms at the inn and Gunthar endulges in a large meal. Slinger, getting a refill for his flask, overhears a pair of elven warriors talking about a rumor of the agents of Uthain the Black having recovered an artifact several months ago. They explain they haven't heard any more then that. The party finds rest....in a way...as Gunthar's meal comes back to haunt some of those sharing his room. Ethinclaw and Slinger bed down near the inn's hearth as Isaac finds a new use for his pebbles...nose plugs. The party begins their journey to Variskali to check on the small town, not knowing what to expect. During their journey Slinger and Sordrin range out to hunt and stir up a flock of feeding ravens. They find the remains of a pair of individuals wearing red and gold that have familiar arrows embedded throughout their bodies. Quickly returning to their companions they make it known what they found. The next day as they draw closer to Variskali, on an open plain they hear movement in the grass.......
