Elemental Earth

Created by

Elemental Earth is one of the most impressive planets in the mortal realm (also known as the middle realm). It is divided into four sections: earth, fire, water, and air. I know what you're thinking... "Bruh! You literally just used elements to name the parts of your world!" This is true, however, elemental earth has a little bit more in store than just a large mass of elements. The earth section of elemental earth is divided into four categories: Bagorah Desert, Algo Mountain Range, the Feywild, and the plains of Sidon. The Bagorah desert is home to a total of three cities. These cities include the following: Excere, Falgo, and Drompthere. The barren desert also has many secrets not known to most! The Algo Mt. Range is home adventurous elves who love being able to look out over all of the earth section, and lead their eyes to try to penetrate the dense forests of the feywild. There are 2 mountain cities located here, with only a handful of elves populating them. The fey wild is a place of ethnical beauty where the ancient dryads live. While it is home to many a joyful fey, including pixies, sprites, and dryads, it is also one of the most dangerous places in elemental earth. Complete with hags, displacer beasts, and strange magic, most wish to stay away from. However, the plains of Sidon is the most common dwelling place in the Earth section and contains 9 cities. The Fire section of elemental earth is quite unlike the rest. Consisting of valcanoe layers, and deep underground tunnels surrounded by pits of fire. While it would be pretty difficult to choose, I would probably say this is the most adventurous section of elemental earth. With monsters roaming the tunnels and lairs, many stay far away from this terrifying section. However, deep in the mountains somewhere, are lost tunnels of treasure which contain magical items capable of granting wishes to those who need them the most. The Water section of elemental earth is one of the most populated. Because this section contains aboleths, chuuls, kuo-toas, marids, marrows, dragon turtles, krakens, sahuagins, and sea hags; this is by far the most dangerous section of elemental earth. However, this section does include one civilized city, glory city, which is inside a magic air bubble. Finally, we reach the air section of elemental earth. This is probably my favorite section, and for good reason. This section is difficult to describe, but I will do my best. Suspended above a large cavern are 11 floating islands: Gomollian, Viramatt, Daddaris, Ziglam, Drogon, Padeb, Kigilod, Zuleldit, Vuzudam, Oliozan, and Tradd (the capital each named for the eleven eladrin ancestors who first populated these islands under the rule of King Tradd. These floating islands are suspended by a deep celestial magic that runs throughout elemental earth. Dragons also roam from island to island, many tamed, but some not. Tamed Wyverns, Giant Eagles, Hipogriffs, and the king of Tradd's Griffon are used to travel between islands. However, it is said that if you fall into the bottomless cavern above which are suspended the 11 islands, that you will fall forever. Elemental earth was inspired by the two things: monks and the want for an aquatic adventure. When I first learned about monks and the elements, I was amazed. I loved the idea of implementing the power of the elements (ki) into battle with martial arts. At that time I also had the want for an aquatic themed adventure. Thats when I put the two together and created elemental earth. While their are many planets in the mortal realm of my dnd multiverse, this planet is most definitely my favorite. (PS.
