Elemental Earth's Prominent Races Explained

There are many races in elemental earth including the following: eladrin, high elves, nymphs, wood elves, dryads, dark elves/drow, hags, half-elves, hobgoblin, owlfolk, rabbitfolk, satyrs, and treants. These races will all be explained in the 8 summaries below. The Eladrin are the most ancient of elves that live in elemental earth. They are divided into two subraces. The true eladrin are connected to a certain season (winter, spring, summer, fall) and dwell in the feywild. However, the eladrin dwelling in the Air section of elemental earth, lost their connection to a certain season and became lovers of all seasons, good or bad. These eladrin rule the air section with great wisdom. The elves of elemental earth are divided into three subraces: high elves, wood elves, drow, and half elves. High Elves are the most intelligent of the four races of elves. They come from high cultures such as the Earth section’s capital city on the plains of Sidon, Kemen. Wood Elves are wiser than high elves and have more of an adventuresome spirit. They love to explore, and often live in deep forests containing unknown secrets. Dark elves, commonly called drow, are rare and not common in elemental earth. You may find one of these creatures dwelling in the Fire section, deep in an underground layer. Drow have sunlight sensitivity, and thus are rarely seen in plain daylight. Half-elves are a race consisting of part human-part elf creatures. While not true elves, this race still retains fey ancestry and darkvision. These humanoids can be found living in the Earth section and elsewhere in elemental earth. Nymphs and dryads are the ancient people of the trees. Often dwelling in the feywild, these creatures are deeply connected to the forest and its trees. While these creatures are rarely seen, they still symbolize the beauty of the feywild. Compared to the creatures just talked about, hags do NOT go in the same category. Unfortunately, hags are fey, and thus are allowed to dwell in elemental earth. Hags are the opposite of the good eladrin, elves, and other fey. They are part of the evil in elemental earth. Hags, often referred to as witches, are capable of dark magic which they use in an attempt to take over elemental earth. Hobgoblins are another kind of fey. These creatures are powerful warriors often ruling a city on the plains of Sidon. These creatures love battle and make their powers known to any creature/s who disturb them in the least. Constantly on edge, you would do well not to offend a hobgoblin settlement! Owlfolk and rabbitfolk are your common Owl and Rabbit from old cartoons or Winnie the Pooh. While these creatures may not seem impressive, making allies with a secret owlfolk nest may help you in the long run. And having a rabbitfolk as a guide in the feywild would do you great good! Satyrs are like your Narnian fauns. Half goat-half man creatures capable of great magic. These creatures often dwell in the mountains of the Algo Mt. Range practicing their magic to themselves. These creatures, like many others mentioned, are very rare. Last, but not least, are the treants of the feywild. Treants are a lot like the ents in lord of the rings. These creatures are often very wise and choose to dwell in well forested areas such as the feywild. It is said that treants are capable of so much wisdom that they can tell the future of the worlds! Treants are ancient creatures and prefer to be respected.
