Matter

All matter is made of Ena, the basic state of matter. Ena can be rearranged into various structures to become different materials. Ena particles have "Chords" running between them, which can transmit energy and information. Furthermore, Chords tend to arrange themselves so that Ena particles form groups, called Nodes.

Spells

(See Spells for further explanation) A spell is performed by transmitting the instruction along Chords to the targeted place. The spell will draw energy from the surrounding area, the energy usually being heat, and then almost immediately after, energy from the caster's soul will travel along the Chords and will convert into heat. This energy, is called Mana. It should be noted that more Mana is needed the further the spell is. This is because Chords draw energy from the surroundings to transmit the energy, and the energy is paid back the same way. While the drawn energy for spells is immediately paid back into the world in the form of whatever the spell's effect is, transportation of information is not energy, and the energy is paid back to the hub. This is referred to as the information tax.

Capabilities

A spell is a powerful tool. It is able to transform Mana into kinetic energy, propelling things forwards. It can change the structure of Ena to change the material.

Localization

Nullifiers sever Chords. This results in information and Mana being unable to go between Ena particles. In nullified areas, magic has no effect. One such area is the city-state of Silnear, which has a permanant nullifier over it.
