The Luzdral
The luzdral are a large, four legged beast that lives in hot climates, usually humid coasts and dry deserts. These creatures are unable to fly but can run and swim incredibly fast and even climb certain surfaces, they use this agility to chase down prey ranging from small critters to large mammals and even humanoids. The Luzdral does not have a particular preference in meat, rather it requires a large amount of meat to enable it to properly continue to make use of it's agility. The creature resembles a canine but is stripped of fur and has a tough outer skin that is hot to the touch. The size of the Luzfral can vary but the general size of the beast matches the growth of dire wolves.
These creatures hunt in packs, and also have the ability to breathe a hot flame as a last resort which has a devastating effectiveness but renders the Luzdral useless as it cripples their insides. Upon using this ability, if the target is killed then the beast will devour it, otherwise it will try to escape to safety and recover unless it believes it can win the fight.
Upon killing it's prey, it usually cooks the food by lying on to of the meat it deems usable and rests for a few hours while the meat cooks, once cooked the Luzdral will devour the meat and then continue on. They can take the meals back to a den in the form of an underground sand cave or equivalent and feed it to their pups. The pups hug together which generates heat, the meat is placed in the centre and overtime becomes a delicious meals for the offspring of the Luzdral.
