Backstory
Aldric was a noble-hearted human paladin, born into a lineage of valiant warriors. From a young age, he displayed exceptional courage and unwavering devotion to justice. Trained in the ways of combat and righteousness, he dedicated his life to defending the innocent and upholding the tenets of his order. In his early years as a paladin, Aldric embarked on numerous quests, smiting evil and protecting the weak wherever he went. His chivalry and charisma won him the respect and admiration of his comrades, as well as the people he encountered in his travels. During one fateful adventure, Aldric crossed paths with Sera, a talented half-elf healer with a fiery spirit and a kind heart. Their shared pursuit of justice and their complementary skills forged a deep connection between them. Over time, their admiration and friendship blossomed into something more profound, as they discovered solace and strength in each other's presence. Together, Aldric and Sera faced countless perils, from battling hordes of undead to confronting ancient evils. Their bond became an unbreakable pillar of support, and their love grew stronger with every trial they overcame. Tragedy struck during a perilous mission to slay a wicked green dragon that terrorized the land. In the heat of the battle, Aldric fought valiantly, but he sustained mortal injuries that proved insurmountable. As his life slipped away, Sera, desperate to save him, tried to revive him with all her healing prowess but was ultimately unsuccessful. In her grief and despair, Sera made a deal with a devil, hoping to restore Aldric to life. Unbeknownst to her, this pact would forever alter their lives. The devil's deceit ensnared Sera, freezing her in a state of torment, while Aldric's soul was unable to pass on, trapped in a state of limbo.History Along Side The Party
Aldric broke free of his crude petrification along with his wife thanks to the efforts of the Eternal Vanguard, that vanquished the demon after a long and gruelling battle. Aldric and his wife Sera Aremae agreed to join the GOAT adventuring guild as to return the favour for saving their lives and volunteered to take the fight to Priscilla. Aldric continued to work under the guild and participated in the assault on the capital of Orcholynt, leading a smaller group of soldiers to divert attention away from the infiltrating party. Following Priscillas defeat, Aldric assisted with Empire affairs in order to assist the adventuring guild that saved his, and his wide's life.
