Meshen is governed by a board. The board members consisting of the acting heads or owners of the largest companies within the city. The board's interests are allways self-serving. Any attempt at a workers union is quickly and brutally brushed aside.

Industry & Trade

As noted above Meshen is a powerhouse in the metal works industry due to its location and the ease of transporting goods in its climate. Many side industries have flourished due to this. Such as transportation for the workers, The transportation of farm goods, and entertainment.

Infrastructure

Meshen is the central hub for the production of metal goods. Rivalling the dwarven kingdoms in production if not quality. With a short distance to several mines. the foundrys of Meshen are said to never go cold. The city is also home to a vast train terminal. Making it an essential part of the train network. Meshen boasts an impressive infrastructure. Its sewer system stretches across the city. The grand undertaking of the worlds longest aqueduct finds its end here.
