Goblinoids
Basic Information
Anatomy
Goblinoids are universally humanoids. Although there is a lot of variation among the varying sub-species.
Genetics and Reproduction
A hobgoblin, A Bugbear and a Goblin may, in theory, all emerge from the same clutch of eggs. When a Goblin lays a clutch of eggs they are more likely to give birth to a goblin, And so on for a bugbear and hobgoblin. This natural process can, however, be tampered with the right components and rites. A Hobgoblin loathes to give life to a lowly goblin and a hobgoblin that came from a goblins clutch will go to great lengths to obfuscate this, Some hobgoblins going to extreme even bloody lengths. The components and rites that are required to make a hobgoblin or even a bugbear are a jealously guarded secret.
Growth Rate & Stages
Goblinoids have a large clutch and grow fast. This is due to the low chance that an individual goblinoid will make it to adulthood. A Goblinoid is considered an adult by the time they are ten years old. When a Goblinoid hatches they will often feast upon their clutchmates.
