9/12/2019: Widows Isle
General Summary
Azariah purchased twenty ten-foot poles that can be disassembled into forty five-foot poles.
Azariah then joined the rest of the group which decided to check out the metallic door in the Mushroom cave. Azariah also managed to pick the door again.
The party spotted the Darkmantle while travelling down the stone passageway and avoided it. They heard the piercing shriek in the distance.
The party saw the secret docks while travelling into the cave. They decided not to drop Nohay out of the crack they saw the harbour through.
The passageway let out into a warehouse filled with cannonballs, Rations and Gunpowder. A small skirmish broke out with two skeletons. As the battle drew to a close a third smaller much more agile skeleton joined the fray. Nohay then kicked the warehouse shelves over resulting in a massive explosion. Nohay acquired a pair of boots.
The party regrouped and with some abuse aimed at Nohay they moved on to the docks tavern.
The party decided(?) to burn the building down aswell. Nohay broke the taps off the kegs of rum and leapt to safety. Using his new spring-heeled boots Nohay jumped around 80ft out of the tavern. Azariah then threw in a torch and set the tavern ablaze.
A giant flaming skeleton emerged from the flames and rushed the group. Who almost immediately pushed it into the water, killing it.
A tricky manoeuvre put Nohay into the water where he saw the old airship.
The party deduced the screech was coming from the odd boat in the harbour. After some prep and not having a short rest they boarded the boat.
Boss Battle
A banshee rose from the skeleton of an Orc. Thorin overcome by fear was unable to act until Keyleth used his spell Command on him with the single word instruction to "SMITE". The resulting thunderous heavenly blow put the banshee on the backfoot, It reacted in the way most banshees would and screamed. Taking out the majority of the party wits its death song. Only Nohay remained standing and barely at that. Nohay managed to take the Banshee down by punching it and banish it from this dimension for a time.
