Wizard

Wizards are supreme magic-users, defined and united as a class by the spells they cast. Drawing on the subtle weave of magic that permeates the cosmos, wizards cast spells of explosive fire, arcing lightning, subtle deception, brute-force mind control, and much more.   Humans, dwarves, halflings, and gnomes cannot equip this class.

Qualifications

You must have an Intelligence score of 13 or higher to equip this class.

Career Progression

Level 1 - As a student of arcane magic, you have a spellbook containing all of your spells. At level 1 you know 3 level 1 spells. As you level up you can choose to either add an additional level 1 spell slot or upgrade a spell slot to a higher level. These spells are copied into your books and cost 2 hours and 50 gp. You may also spend 1 hour and 10 gp to copy each of your spells into a back up book. If you lose your spell book you must start over as though you are level 1. You know Arcane Recovery which allows you to regain some of your magical energy by studying your spellbook. If you have half an hour to rest, you can perform this ability to recover a spent spell slot.   Level 2 - You must choose your Arcane Tradition from the following: Abjuration, Bladesinger(Elves only), Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, Transmutation, or War Magic
