Bishop

The second-in-commands of the Church of Light. There are only 24 Bishops in the Church of Light and they are all male in order to balance the power of the Holy Maiden.

Qualifications

All bishops are male and must have been a member of the church for at least six years. They are called to the appointment by the Holy Maiden upon her receiving a vision from the Light.

Must have been a priest in the Church of Light Must show the highest dedication to the church and its rules Be a leader among the people Be personally chosen by the current Holy Maiden

Duties

Act as the legislative arm of the church. They apply the rules of the church to the situations of the world of man.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Only removed upon death or in very very rare instances a handful of bishops have been removed by revelation of the Light to the Holy Maiden.
