Myrrhdeas the Vixen (a.k.a. Myrrh)
Myrrhdeas is a
firefox and the smallest of the Zodiac spirits. Her Zenith - in which state she becomes rather a bit larger - is referred to as Ninefaiths when she's good and Ninelusts when she's better.
Lazy and a little bit spoiled, Myrrhdeas is prone to whimsy, but not so much pursuits, because pursuits take work.

Myrrhdeas may be incredibly lazy, but she is still a Zodiac spirit and commands great power.
Unlike the other Zodiac spirits - but very much like the Coven witches who revere her - Myrrhdeas's strength is largely consolidated in her star ball, a glassy orb that can change size from as small as a pebble to about the size of her head. Not only does this orb allow Myrrhdeas to perform powerful illusion and fire magic, but she can physically hurl it at folks as a blunt weapon. When idle, she often half-heartedly plays with her star ball, batting it around or balancing it on her nose.
Usually, Myrrhdeas is not affected by attempted physical restraints on her star ball. However, someone with a sufficiently strong willpower, or who simply takes it far enough away, can overcome Myrrhdeas's authority over her orb. While most talented mages can then draw raw power from her orb, very few are able to replicate her techniques using the artifact. In either case, Myrrhdeas without her star orb is greatly weakened unless she is in her Zenith.
If Myrrhdeas's star orb is damaged or broken, she will not be harmed, but will have to take the time to repair and re-energize it.
