Eilia - The Starblessed World

Eilia is a planet, formed by the will of the Stars and once personally guarded by the Goddess Elizia. Her once personal touch on the world left it with trace amounts of magical energy. Those with ancestry from the Goddess and her human lover are born as Starblessed - capable of great magical feats.   The world is made up of one large continent with occasional unoccupied isles around it. In the era where the Goddess lived on the land a great city existed in the center of this continent but with her leave the area was destroyed, leaving only the desert area known as the Harshlands in the center. Now civilization lives in a ring around this great ruin-filled wasteland.   The world is largely in peace, although the two major religions of the world find themselves at odds with each other, based on their views of the Goddess Elizia and whether they view her as a protector or a traitor to the world.   (Sidenote: If you've stumbled upon this wiki somehow this is a HUGE work in progress.
