Ow my head hurts or how to nearly kill a bard

"You awaken in the woods, feeling incredibly hungover. You have some vague memories of meeting each other in a bar the night before, but you really have no clue who these other people are. All you remember is lots of mead, and someone saying 'you know what would be AWESOME? Let's go on an ADVENTURE! It'll be fun!'"
The still half drunk party awoke in the forest, to the sound of wolves in the forest. Immediately K'thraak Littlefinger, The Rat-folk Rogue raised his crossbow, and shot at the nearest, However in his fragile state shot Jeanne Longsong, the Halfling bard By mistake. The Party Then rallied With Aspen Woodfield the Human ranger shooting a wolf, and Cookie The Elf Barbarian dispatching 2 wolves easily with his greataxe. He then charged at a third, But slipped on some leaves, and instead Hit And Knocked Jeanne to the ground Unconscious. The final wolf then fled.

With Jeanne the only healer unconscious the party could only wait for her to recover. Once Conscious Jeanne managed to heal herself, and they started to try to find their way back to amberglen. Aspen Still recovering from the previous night however could not find their trail. Then Aspen climbed a tree, But could see no signs of Amberglen. After climbing down, the party struck out in a random direction, fortunately they happened upon a freindly Elven ranger Sindrel Tybar. He mentions there is a person called Caryn Boltan searching the local area for old jewellery, seems ok, but wouldnt take advice to stay away from the woods, Just stubborn treasure hunter probably. After admonishing the party for going into the woods unprepared and drunk, he has his kestrel Moliie show the party back to town.
