General Summary
The party fly to Lakehold Castle on the Isle of Aethering and begin their delve.
In the main hall of the ruin, they fight off a huge Fomorian giant and hordes of grotesque and ferocious Morlocks.
Continuing down, they crawl through the ruined dungeon until finally coming to an arcane pillar. Julia uses her knowledge to unlock the magical seal on the pool within which Benton is trapped. The party slays the decrepit sorcerer, Anasia, who was entombed alongside him. Benton is happy to be saved, but expresses a want to go it alone for a while, to figure out what he wants in life after this close call.
When they exit, they are surprised to see Mephet Pah, the sphinx, flying down towards them. She has brought Kyran back from some far place, where he has been magically returned from the dead. There is something not quite right with him. Though he looks fine, Thoril senses an illusion on his appearance. Kyran acts mostly like himself, but he is excited to share some wild new abilities with them!
Thoril takes Benton and Kyran to Pipemede, while Davdak and Fale return Julia to Estbridge.
