After a few hundred years, and a few changes in leadership later in the Lionsheart Company, business for the Lionsheart came to a grinding halt. The monsters and beasts of the wilds withdrew into their homelands, or those living among the common folk had quieted down as the Lionsheart Company, slew all those that didn't for the money reward. With several years of no work, and no way to pay for their members, the Company disbanded, little by little those who lived in the Citadel left to rejoin their families and loved ones on the now quite peaceful mainland. The Lionsheart were no more.
