Session 014 Report

General Summary

Our heroes stand over the body of Trace Mander, having defeated her in a pitched battle. Attila began searching her body and noticed tattooed tendrils moving up both arms towards her chest. After disrobing her he discovered a large emblem tattooed on her chest. As he discovered this, the body started to crumble to dust in front of him. He managed to scribble the emblem into the dirt and both Brigid recognized it as a pact binding. Fallen Twig wrote it on a piece of paper for later. Making their way North West, our heroes made camp for the night off the trail. During first watch a young tiefling named Salix Brightmoon sauntered into camp. After a brief 'what are you doing here' interrogation everyone sat down to have some evening tea before turning in for the night. Our heroes made their way along a step mountain pass and found that the way had been destroyed. After some discussions that involved raccoon hand signals and the near death of Fallen Twig, they made it across the gap and made their way to where they believed the Orcs of Wyvern Tor were camped. When they got there, they found only the remains of a camp and due to the excellent tracking skills of Fallen Twig, they realized that they orcs had left and headed north. Our heroes pushed hard and managed to catch up to the scouting party, though it seemed like their numbers had swelled based on the initial estimates of Salix Brightmoon. After leading some away and then diving head first into battle, our heroes managed to win the day and are currently deciding to make camp in the area.

Attila discovered a chest that was carried by one of the ogres and it appeared to be the lootings of the orcs as they made their way south toward Phandalin.
