Session 013 Report

General Summary

Our heroes escorted the Rockseeker brothers, Gundren and Nundro back to Phandalin, along the way they learned that if they were ever in Davenport and looking for work, they should head to Orogreth, Arcane Academy and speak with Merewyn Leagallow. The Rockseekers have had many dealings with her and she always gave them a fair take.
After sleeping the night through and heading to Elmar Barthen's shop for provisions, they learned that some one or something killed Barthen's men and destroyed the Dragon remains at Thundertree. Perhaps Reidoth the Druid is still in the area and knows more.
Our heroes headed to Old Owl Well to confront the suspected necromancer, "Duchess" Trace Mander, she seemed aware of their foray into Wave Echo Cave and tried to learn what they discovered there. Brigid could only stand the sight of her 'shaped' undead creatures for so long and attacked. A pitched battle ensued with Attila banished and Fallen Twig and Brigid knocked unconcious, Trace almost made her escape, but for the reappearance of Attila and some deft blade work from Blackbriar Raventree she was slain.
What is her secret? Why was she there? Was she hunting the mysterious orbs our heroes have stumbled upon?
