Sumorius
Sumorius is a country located on the continent of Namsong. Its characterized by its massive mountains reaching towards the sky and its vast forest. The capital of Sumorius is the city of Toyama at the base of mount Kita the largest mountain in the whole od Edith.
Structure
Societal standing in Sumorius is determined by personal strength and military ability at the top of the hierarchy is Empress and the trained members of the royal family below that is the royal generals and below that is military commanders.
Culture
Citizens in Sumorius are taught that every person holds a bond with some kind of weapon and citizens are trained in various weapons until they find the one that speaks to them. Once this weapon has been found by a person they are thought to master this weapon until it becomes like a fifth limb and they have mastered it.
Public Agenda
The Agenda of Sumorius is family honor and power through martial ability while magic isn't uncommon it is heavily discouraged in favor of mechanical and physical means.
Assets
Sumoriu's main asset is their military being willing to work as mercenaries if needed to by other countries if they are willing to provide payment in resources and money.
History
In 800 PD Sumorius was founded to a very weak and unstable rule and this lasted for a long while until tensions started to rise with the neighboring country of Espon in the early 1000s. during this era of instability, a revolution was staged by the Tsuneo family, and the weak government was overthrown. After the overthrow the leader of the Tsuneo family the new Empress declared war on Espon leading to the war of Steel and Spy during this war Dead Man's Valley was created a land destroyed by the war where no life could flourish. The war ended in a stalemate both countries agreeing to peace but there is still a seed of hatred between the two countries.
