The Prophecy Pye is the title given to a particular rune pye that comes up repeatedly in ruins, older sections of temples, and even carved into stones throughout the continent. The meaning of this pye had been studied for decades before an oracle of the temple saw it and translated, it has since been used to translate other runes as well. 

Translation

The translation of this pye as provided by the Oracle Delai:

Four races,

Two wars.

A disease spread along the valley,

A mountain raised between,

Two halves of one whole,

Never again to meet

The Meaning

The meaning of this pye, as determined by the Temple upon translation: This pye has been determined to pre-date the raising of the Barrier Mountains and speak of the War of the People between the Humans and the Mer, and the Humans and the Fae (and Demons).

Prevalence

This pye has become a reoccurring motif not only in ruins, but in households as well, many adopting it as a reminder of the sacrifice made by the People's Soul. If is also often used arguments against war.

Record

The Temple keeps record of all occurrences of this pye so long as they are reported, the list is maintained in the Central Temple in Moonwin. Some of the Major occurrences of this pye include the first found ruins in the Lonthan Desert, A structure in the Sarli Forest referred to as The Gate, a mosaic found in the depths near Smile Island, and a large inscription on the Lonthan Mountain Range.

About the Oracle Delai

The oracle Delai, at the time this prophecy was recorded was a second-level oracle. This prophecy was given at the unveiling of the prophecy pye found underneath a tavern in the Moonwin Capital.

The Oracle Delai's history is traceable to the birth of her daughter, Seraphine, and then the records of Delai stop. There are theories among the Temple that her name had changed, or that she died in childbirth, though there are no records of either outcome.

This pye has officially been marked as a prophecy by the Temple since the translation provided by Delai. It has been classified as "Fulfilled" and "High-Priority" as it has been linked with the raising of the Barrier Mountains and the split of the People's Soul.

Variations

For all occurrences of this pye throughout the continent only one variation has been found, inscribed into one of the highest reachable points of the Great Barrier Mountains. The difference in this pye has been isolated to the last line of translation, changing it from "Never again to meet" to instead "One day again shall meet". This version of the pye has been classified as "Unfulfilled" and "High-Priority" though it has not been verified by either soul nor oracle.
