BL-8

In addition to its custom chassis, BL-8 features unique self improvement programming in the form of a virus. A keepsake from it's former master, the droid is driven to continue its creator’s legacy and modify, upgrade, and customize itself to perfection. The virus allows BL-8 to go beyond it's capabilities at the price of possible catastrophic drawbacks. Mechanics and equipment aren’t cheap, however. Luckily, the droid discovered that collecting bounties both paid well and gave it a chance to hone its skills. Ever since the Bounty Hunter Guild accepted it into its ranks, BL-8 has done jobs wherever it can. Its work has somehow made it come across the crew of the Trapsuki and become a permanent member.
It is unknown what BL-8 was up to prior to bounty hunting. Even the whereabouts of it's creator remains a mystery. Rumors say that BL-8 has always been a droid made for killing and that it is responsible for it's owner's death. BL-8 however has no recollection of this as its memory was wiped some time ago. BL-8 believes that it will one day come across the truth.

OBLIGATION & DRAWBACKS:
Bl-8's previous life, and perhaps even its owner, will one day interject at a very inconvenient time.
Furthermore, a virus plagues Bl-8's systems and allows it to boost one of its Characteristics by 1 temporarily at the cost of reducing the rest of its Characteristics by 1 (minumum 1) and taking possible damage.
