Note from the Author

Eco is the title of a story of a world with dinosaurs. What if a world with all existing biomes and all dinosaurs discovered existed? Which animals would survive? How would they evolve? That aside, it is also my way of informing the world about dinosaurs and make some fun speculation.

As this place also needs characters to involve, humans live here for some unknown reason. Although the knowledge exists, there is a lack of the resources needed to create gunpowder. Therefore, most warfare in this story is based on classic and medieval military. The civilizations are also quite diverse culturally and their relation with the fauna is just as diverse.

The story mainly takes place in Mesos and therefore, I made a small introduction of how would it look the back cover as of what I have settled by now.

The continent of Mesos is a vast continent place along the equator of the planet, reaching the temperate areas of the globe. This gives the continent a vast diversity of biomes from deserts to jungles, swamps and grasslands.

However, the most outstanding characteristic is its fauna. Mesos, as well as all the globe, is primarily inhabited by dinosaurs. Dinosaurs of all three epochs (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous) live in the super continent in a fight for survival. Mesos is inhabited by animals as famous as the Tyrannosaurus rex and as obscure as Yi Qi. Some have even evolved through the time to fulfill niches that used to be covered by other animals.

Still, for some unknown reason, humans live in this world ignorant of their origin.
