Feygrain

Fey grain is a fabric composed of the miracle plant's stems and leaves weaved together. The white fabric shimmers from incredibly light brown to a light green. It's Texture is rough and scratchy, woven tightly together it is mainly used for cloaks and similar outer layers. The fabric is prized not only for its exceptional ability to keep out wind and dust and its stain resistant brilliant white color but also for the difficult process of making it. To make the fabric, the artisan first has to acquire the recourses. The bushes live in the hottest parts of the desert, trekking out there proves incredibly difficult despite the commonness of it. When you do manage to get the resources, which is a lot even to make a small square of it, the weave of the fabric is impossibly tight. When done correctly the fabric is weaved so small and tight you can barely see the weave, but the worst thing about crafting it is it has to be done almost completely by hand. The material is very brittle and easily snapped until it is set in its place, making it a long and slow process done with very little extra instrumentation. Those Artisans who can make it are constantly asked for it, making it their primary output. This greatly contributes to the lack of people willing to learn the skill, wanting to diversify themselves in the field. Those who do learn it often have clients in royalty and people willing to spend there entire life savings for the precious fabric. However because of the roughness and uncomfortable texture of it the fabric is only every used as outerwear such as cloaks and occasionally ceremonial garments. The fabric is only made in and around the Kalhanni desert, do to the amount of recourses needed.
