Sanbalet was a human wizard who was using the Haunted House as a base of operations for his band of smugglers.
He utilized the spell Alistair's Ghostly Disguise to scare away locals and perpetuate the idea that the house was haunted.
He was defeated by members of the Adventurer's Association during the events of Session 3.
It was established during Session 4 that Sanbalet speaks with an Australian accent.
