Ebrun is a world of abundant resources, varied climates, thriving life, and much magic. Dozens of sapient species inhabit its surface; their interactions span the warlike to the benevolent. Earth-like laws of physics and gravity create a world that in ways resembles our own, however, a deep well of magic accessible to beings and creatures of numerous species has helped to shape the planet, from monuments built beyond the scope of plain physical labor, to shaping the very geography with magical catastrophe. Technology has been rapidly evolving with the growing international trade systems that have formed in the last few centuries, with mechination beginning to take hold, at times rocking the world of deeply rooted belief systems and societal norms. With global contact becoming more and more varied with the developing travel technologies, the wolrd is globalizing into more and more of a melting pot, though not always without conflict,by any means. For the bold adventurer, there are ancient treasures to be reclaimed, bandits and evildoers to rout, monsters to slay, prophecies to fulfill, errands to be run, and stories to be told and made. In Ebrun, if it can be imagined, somewhere, it just may exist--even the most outlandish of things.
