Hartto Forest
Hartto Forest was the largest forest in Vashait and the second largest untouched forest in Ashon.
Geography
The forest was located in nothwestern Vashait, west of Millmire City. It extends all through the outskirts of the city for over 50 miles and connects directly with several small towns such as Hardersfield.
Fauna & Flora
A large forest eclipsed by sycamore, hawthorn, evergreens, and dog wood—the trees of Hartto Forest are very large and old, with much of its trees creating an overhead canopy during the warmer seasons. The interior of Hartto Forest contains many collection of mushroom species taken advantage of by the insect riddled soils. A plethora of shrubs make use of the moist and fertile bottom layer below where a variety of flora and herbs used in local medicines grow.
Smaller plants, such as berry bushes, ivy, and flowering plants also thrive in here.
Harrto Forest was full of a menagerie of foraging animals as well as a plethora of monsters—flail snails, giant boar, manticores, owl bears, and poisonous snakes.
It was also common to see packs of wolves and black bears roam around the forest. The trees are home to many bird species and wild game.
