Yad-Raghesh, the Fallen Rajah

Yad-Raghesh, the Fallen Rajah, is one of the Overlords who ruled over all of Eberron during the Age of Demons. Unlike most of it's kin, Yad-Raghesh was not bound by the Silver Flame, but was actually killed by the dragons. To date, Yad-Raghesh is the only overlord to be killed and remain dead.   All of the Overlords embody mortal fears. Yad-Raghesh represents physical corruption, disease and decay. It's presence polluted the land and blighted plant life, caused wounds to fester and disease to run rampant, and mortals caught in it's influence to horrifically mutate into new, terrible forms.    Yad-Raghesh was the first of the overlords to be defeated by the dragons during the Age of Demons. When it died, it's corpse remained, rather than dissipating as the others do, and over time it began to rot and decompose. Since then, the corpse has sunken into and corrupted the land in a region of the Light of Siberys in Argonessen, now appropriately named the Vale of the Fallen Rajah. The corpse of Yad-Raghesh has had an adverse effect on the region, corrupting anything that enters the region. Fiends occasionally spawn from the corpse and emerge into Argonessen, and so the region is kept under constant watch by the dragons.   Yad-Raghesh's corruption has gradually spread over the millenia since it was bound, and it might one day consume the world. Yad-Raghesh wasn't bound by the Silver Flame, couldn't be bound, because it was dead.
