Half-Orc

Half-orcs were originally the children of the orcs native to the Shadow Marches, and the human settlers from Sarlona. They inherit some of the size and strength of their orc parents, though they are closer to humans in body structure.
The orcs of the Marches refer to these children as Jhorgun'taal, which means "children of two bloods" in Orc, and their existence is celebrated. The orcs of the Marches see the jhorgun'taal as proof that we are all one people, and that we were destined to be together. Outside of the Shadow Marches, half-orcs have historically been fairly rare. However, with the manifestation of the Mark of Finding and the formation of House Tharashk, they have begun to spread across the Five Nations.
