Greenhaunt

The Greenhaunt is forest in northern Breland, which was once part of a much larger forest that stretched from the Blackcaps to Scion's Sound. When the kingdom of Galifar was founded, this larger forest included the Greenhaunt, Harrowcrowns, Thornwood and Imsitil Forest, but much of the land was cleared for farming.
The Greenhaunt is considered to be a dangerous place, the forest is teeming with hostile wildlife and monsters that occasionally emerge from the woods and attack the nearby settlements. There are a few theories as to why, with one theory suggesting that the forest is home to a variety of manifest zones which either allow monsters to pass over from other planes, or influence the local wildlife.
Hidden deep within the forest lies the Greenhaunt Grove, the home of a circle of druids who somehow avoid aggression from the other denizens of the forest.
