Gaeth'ad

Gaeth'ad is a potent herbal tea that is popular in the Shadow Marches. It has a similar effect to alcohol, though a skilled brewer can dose and mix it such that the brew can elicit a specific emotion in the drinker. Gaeth'ad is also non-addictive and doesn't cause hangovers, which majorly contributes to it being more common in the Marches than alcohol is.
House Jorasco have attempted to replicate it for use elsewhere in Khorvaire, as such a substance could have substantial medical value. Unfortunately, it needs to be very fresh to be potent, and the required herbs are only found in the Shadow Marches.
