The Karrnathi princess, Haydith ir'Wynarn, was seen yesterday in the marketplaces of Wroat assaulting and brutalizing Brelish citizens, alongside a gang of thugs from the overgrown refugee camp, New Cyre.
Sources say that the Cyrans, lead by the Karrn, were fleecing the hardworking shop keepers of our wondrous capital. They purchased many goods, including weapons, and they didn't pay the reasonable asking price for any of it. Now, we are fully unable to comment on how things might be done in Karrnath, but in Breland we pay what goods are worth, and not a crown less. We pride ourselves on supporting our local businesses!
As far as we have been able to piece together from the incident, a concerned citizen, proudly presenting their patriotism in their dress, attempted to approach the princess and raise this with her. She responded by viciously attacking the man and beating him within an inch of his life in front of the normal late morning crowd. When other concerned citizens rushed to the aid of this poor fellow, the Karrn set her pet Cyrans on the crowd, swinging halberds and other weapons of war.
Several eye witnesses report that one of the Cyran agitators used some form of strange magic to rip up a section of the road and turn it against the crowd. The construct, which took the form of a panther constructed from cobblestone, was seen mauling a proud Brelish patriot. Not content with merely assaulting people, they also committed vandalism!
It is well known that the Karrnathi princess is a favourite of King Boranel's, she is often seen with him at court. It is also apparent that there have been no repercussions against her or her Cyran lackeys in the aftermath of this outrageous attack on our people, our country, and our very livelihoods. To whom are the true sons and daughters of Breland to turn, if our own government won't protect us from these violent immigrants?
