Lilli is a brilliant artificer. Some would even call her a prodigy. Her ability to infuse other elements and magic into her artificer creations is second to none. However, she has a sick and dying younger sister that she takes care of. Her sister has mourning sickness, a strange and rare disease caused by exposure to the Mourning.
Lilli is desperate to save her sister's life, stopping at nothing to achieve this goal. That's why she recently began delving into darker technology. Learning how to infuse necromancy into her creations, she hopes to be able to create something that can cure her sister no matter the cost.
On her way towards progress, discovered that utilizing human souls that have been through agony results in the most potent of restorative magic. However, the effects are temporary and require additional souls to keep going.
Lilli has a hidden base where she takes refugees to in order to sacrifice them to her soul healer. Then she heads to her home to give her sister some additional lifespan. Being careful to never tell her sister exactly how she is doing it.
To help her avoid the eyes of the law, she has aligned herself with the Order of the Emerald Claw to provide cover for her operations.
