Droaam Players Primer

About 5 years ago, a century-long war ended with the destruction of the nation of Cyre, now known only as the Mournland, a place haunted by weird magic. This war had repercussions all over the continent of Khorvaire, notably the region of Droaam where you all currently live. In the last years of the war, the Daughters of Sora Kell united the scattered monsters of Droaam into a more solid community, which grows into a more organized nation day after day. Despite this, you're not officially recognized as a nation by the rest of Khorvaire but as a territory claimed by the Eastern nation of Breland, and Droaam has an uneasy truce with Breland as of now.   Most outsiders believe that a nation of monsters can't last, but Houses still do business with the renegade nation, as most of them have an outpost in Graywall - the second biggest settlement of Droaam, sitting on the border with Breland.   The Daughters of Sora Kell, three powerful hags, live in the Great Crag, the biggest settlement of Droaam, located deeper into the lands. The lands are controlled by various warlords, which each have their own territory, often specific monster communities, like the harpy flights of the Byeshk mountains, or the gnolls of the Znir Pact.   Goblin is the language most spoken throughout Droaam, altho Common is also found around the Breland border.
