Daoine Gloine

This is a ruined, Kenku city deep in the Starpeaks Mountains. Existing since before the fall of the kenku, the city bears the marks of a great civilization. It is now flooded with ooze which digest organic material. There are no inscriptions or printed/handwritten books in the city. Any books found are completely blank. The kenku were punished for their worship of a medusa that turned humanoids to crystal. In there obsession with shiny objects, they sacrificed many creatures to the monster, incurring the wrath of their god, who struck the power of flight and speech from them, causing them to live a life devoid of creativity. As further punishment for their crimes, the gnomish inventor Kwalish realigned their portal to the plane of Air to the plane of Ooze, flooding the city and destroying most of the inhabitants.
