Earth(Divine Runes)

Earth, 2478 AD. Twenty-four powerful runes emerged from Yggdrasil, the sacred tree. They represented different facets of the human mind as well as the universe's will and force, which choose their wielders in the form of Norns, personifications of each rune.   However, the Tunguska Event went with new threats to the world of Midgard. The asteroid, invisible to humans, created monsters named Wolfsangel, born from the hate and anger of people.   Vyacheslav Andreyushkin, Major General of the Russian military, seized the Wolfsangel's power for his own purposes to foist a worldwide Communist regime on all nations that lasted roughly 161 years. This period of time became known as the Red Age. He used this to take both Russia and the United States of America by storm, killing legitimate leaders of right-wing countries and designating ones approved by the Neo-Soviet government.   After the USA submitted to Communism thanks to Arthur Winchester's election, it didn't only stop being a superpower but ceased to exist altogether as widely known, making what remained of America's values, lands, and culture the laughingstock of the entire world.   Years after the end of the regime, right-wing groups, the alt-right, Conservative and ultra-Conservative organizations began gaining territory in their areas as a consequence of that regime, clashing with left-wing groups. This resulted in several armed conflicts, territorial fights and even four holy wars around the world, triggering World War III.   To this moment, all world wars involving these runes are called "Runic Wars".
