Earth

The world that this campaign takes place in is very similar to modern earth, except for the fact that there is only 1 continent, a massive Pangaea-like country with multiple divisions of cities labelled with letters, there is further sub-divisions in these large cities that are like small towns, which are also labelled with letters.   The state of the world is similar to that of the anime "one punch man", with the cities being under constant attack by monsters, humans with supernatural abilities rise up to help people. These beings are known as "heroes", who are managed by the hero association - these people fight monsters for many things, whether its fame, money or for the good of the people, they still fight.   The government of this super-continent is the hero association, who manage the heroes and the populace in terms of building, tax and other government things, this government is made up of roughly 18-24 people and rely on heroes as bodyguards and to keep the peace between civilians, monsters and sometimes rogue heroes.   Supernatural powers and abilities can come through many things, and almost nothing is off the table in terms of how its gained. Things like human experimentation, gained from birth, mutated due to pollution, or formed due to a strong desire and things that can all cause supernatural powers to emerge.
