Citizenship and Corporate Employement

Citizenship within the Terran Consortium varies greatly. The majority of the populous reside within established Acropoli. These Acropoli are MegaCities that are scattered around Earth, Luna, and Mars. They expand across the most drift stable portions of these planets and moons. Due to the limited nature of fully drift stable locations, these Acropoli heavily regulate the denizens that reside within. Any denizen that is found to promote a destabilizing influence on how the Acropoli functions gets banished to the Latent Anti-Drift Geoscapes, otherwise referred to as the LAG, to either migrate to a different Acropoli or to live among the settlements that can be found in the less drift stable landscape.
On Earth, they are built over the ruins of pre-founding cities and natural disaster ravaged landscapes leading to what the denizens refer to as the Necropoli. Many processes in plants and other utility services are located in this area. Given the location and nature of the area, the populous that resides within the Necropoli tend to be less regulated than those in the city above, however, various Private Police Agencies and Corporate Security Forces will sweep the area to ensure that any threat to the infrastructure or the stability of the drift are either mitigated or neutralized.
Denizens who reside within an Acropoli are required to install their Acropoli's Citizenship Package to their Flatware. This package provides them access to the city, links to their accounts, enables emergency services to easily locate them in the event of a crisis, and gives them access to the skills the Global Resource Council determines best suits the Acropoli's residents. Similarly, residents of the Necropoli are required to have the associated citizenship package installed on them as well. Anyone found within the borders of these drift stable areas without the proper Citizenship Package or Visitor Access will be considered a threat and neutralized upon discovery.
Denizens that are removed from these MegaCities will have their Citizenship Package removed either through a painless consensual process or, if the denizen resist, through a forced purge protocol that could leave them with permanent damage to their neuromatrix. Within the LAG, denizens can opt to instal any package they find, create, or purchase for themselves. It is highly advised that they purchase officially licensed Packages and Expansion through an established Corporate subsidiary rather than rely on custom crafted or found versions as there is no quality control within the LAG.
Similar to the Citizenship Package, employees of the various Corporations that comprise the Terran Consortium are mandated to have a Corporate issues Employee expansion also installed on their Flatware. This expansion contains additional skills and abilities geared towards the denizens job function. These expansions may limit the denizens access to various locations based off of agreements between Corporations or rulings that are legislated through the Directorate of the Consortium.
