What would you say if we almost all had superpowers? What changes to the world do you think it would bring? In the world about 48.6% of the population has superpowers of some kind, the number only rises as each new generation is born. Since the rift opened and gave its gift both heroes and villains have been given a stage. Your comic book hero dreams could very well come true. As being a hero is a full job on its own.   But with powers the rift had brought alongside it a new type of Mineral known as Rust, something that has helped advance humanity only further. Bring hover-cars to light, laser weaponry, levitation, and a new power source all sorts of newfound technology that was nothing more than just dreams years ago. But it came with consequences. Rust is highly volatile, if it isn't handled safely it mutates the welder into an abomination. A creature that is no longer human and only seeks to harm and to grow its numbers. But with safety procedures in place the mineral can be safely mined and used.
