Earth (Modified)

(this is just a personal thing and probably won't be implemented into anything)   This world is very similar to ours on the surface, with the exception of a few organizations and groups spread around. The one big difference this world has is its ties to other worlds via dimensions, whether it be a full new universe or small pocket dimensions here and there.   These dimensions would also be the main source of conflict, with some of these organizations working against these 'invaders', some working for, and some using them for profit or their own, possibly twisted reasons.   The main 'story' revolves around W.E. Labs, a short lived corporation dedicated to "bettering the state of peoples lives"   Even after it was shut down rumors of its continued operation began to form, following disappearances around the area, and several failures and casualties whenever the building was repurposed.   A sister cooperation of W.E., Next Generation Robotics, remains operational, but isn't without its own set of controversy..
