General Genet-Class Battleship

The General Genet-Class Battleships were a class of three battleships built for the National Growax Navy between 1932-1937. They were named General Genet, General Garreau, and General Le Tonnelier. The three were named after famous Growax World War I army commanders. Hubert Genet was a famous general during World War I and was known for being intelligent and resilient but, he was killed in a train crash near Gensburg in September 1919. Jean-Claude Garreau was a general, later promoted to field marshal, during the war and served as the Head of the Growax Army during the war. Arsene Le Tonnelier was another Growax general during the war. The battleships were built in the shipyards of the city of Lendevia. They were the largest and most powerful battleships build by the State of Growax.   General Genet served as Grand Admiral Bittencourt's flagship during most of the war. The three ships would serve in several naval battles and provide shore bombardment to support Growax troops. The three would be sent as part of the Growax part of the Axis fleet sent out to face the allies in the Battle of the Olympic Sea. General Genet was sunk during an engagement with Fleet Admiral Kelsen's squadron and Bittencourt went down with it. General Garreau was sunk during this engagement as well. General Le Tonnelier survived the Battle of the Olympic Sea and returned to Lendevia. In May 1945, it was placed as the flagship of a fleet lead by Fleet Admiral De Verley in one last attempt to cripple the Valerian fleet. During the battle, The Valerian destroyer Mantalia was able to fire a spread of torpedos at the General Le Tonnelier, which disabled it. The ship listed slowly and Admiral De Verley was able to move to the battleship Fouquet. The next day, the Valerian battleships pounded the General Le Tonnelier and after a few hours, the ship sank.
